ORANJESTAD - Today, Ms. Tisa LaSorte, informateur, presented her final report to the Governor of Aruba. In her report, the informateur concluded that the AVP and Futuro parties have decided to form a joint coalition.
In addition, the two sides agreed on the nomination of two candidate formators: Mr. Michiel G. Eman and Ms. Gerlien L. Croes. Both are proposed to jointly carry out the formation mission.
As a next step, the Governor will officially appoint the formators. Before this can take place, in line with the National Ordinance on the Integrity of Ministers, the candidate formators will be subjected to a state security investigation and a judicial inquiry. This process will be initiated by the Chairman of the Advisory Council, following the consent of those involved.
