ORANJESTAD – The Customs Department has announced its office hours and service schedule for the upcoming holiday period.
Customs offices will be closed on December 24, 25 and 26 due to ATV Day, Christmas Day and the second day of Christmas. On December 24, however, limited service will be available from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at the container gate of the Barcadera section. This service is intended for the release of refrigerated containers and documentation for green and blue category cargo.
All regular services will resume on Monday, December 29, 2025.
On December 30, Customs offices will close at midday due to an internal meeting.
Customs offices will also be closed on December 31, 2025, and on January 1 and 2, 2026, in connection with New Year and ATV days. On December 31, limited service will again be available from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at the container gate of the Barcadera section for the release of refrigerated containers and documentation for green and blue category cargo.
All services will fully resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The department is calling on all importers and customs brokers to submit their requests on time and to comply with all required formalities. Customs also extends holiday greetings to the Aruba community.
