ORANJESTAD \u2014 Het Talk of the Town Hotel is gestart met renovaties in het kader van de omvorming tot voco Surfside Aruba<\/em>, een hotel dat zal vallen onder IHG Hotels & Resorts<\/em>. Dat heeft de hotelleiding bekendgemaakt.<\/p>\n

Volgens het management markeert de transformatie een nieuwe fase voor het hotel, waarbij lokale uitstraling en geschiedenis moeten worden gecombineerd met de internationale standaarden van het merk voco.<\/p>\n

De renovatiewerkzaamheden zijn inmiddels begonnen. Het hotel zal op vrijdag 9 augustus 2025 volledig sluiten om een ingrijpende herinrichting van de ruimten, dienstverlening en gastenbeleving mogelijk te maken.<\/p>\n

De feestelijke heropening staat gepland voor december 2025. Tegen die tijd moet het vernieuwde hotel onder de naam voco Surfside Aruba opnieuw gasten ontvangen.<\/p>\n

Volgens de hotelorganisatie wordt voco Surfside Aruba het eerste hotel van dit merk in het Caribisch gebied. Daarmee krijgt Aruba volgens de directie een voortrekkersrol bij de introductie van het IHG-merk in de regio.<\/p>\n

Algemeen directeur Eduardo Yanes noemt de stap een belangrijke mijlpaal in de ontwikkeling van het hotel. Verdere details over de verbouwing en de planning worden volgens de organisatie later gedeeld.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
