ORANJESTAD<\/strong> \u2013 Nu de coalitie van AVP en FUTURO de eerste honderd dagen van haar regeerperiode heeft bereikt, zegt de AVP-fractie in het parlement vast te houden aan haar wetgevende en controlerende rol.<\/p>\n

In een persverklaring blikt de fractie terug op de voorbije periode en stelt zij met “trots en vastberadenheid” te hebben gewerkt aan toezicht op het regeringsbeleid. Volgens de AVP-fractie behoort het tot haar kerntaken om de koers van de coalitie te bewaken, te controleren en waar nodig bij te sturen.<\/p>\n

De fractie geeft aan in de afgelopen honderd dagen meerdere hoorzittingen en vergaderingen met verschillende ministers te hebben belegd. Daarbij zou om transparantie, duidelijkheid en verantwoording zijn gevraagd over plannen en publieke uitgaven. Onderwerpen als luchtvaart, volksgezondheid, infrastructuur, financi\u00ebn en onderwijs kwamen daarbij volgens de fractie aan bod.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast zegt de AVP-fractie in gesprek te zijn gebleven met maatschappelijke organisaties en vertegenwoordigers uit het bedrijfsleven. Die structurele contacten moeten volgens de partij bijdragen aan de beoordeling van beleid en aan de voorbereiding van wetgeving en begrotingsbehandeling.<\/p>\n

Met het oog op de nationale begroting benadrukt de fractie het belang van een evenwichtig en verantwoord gebruik van publieke middelen.<\/p>\n

De AVP-fractie concludeert dat zij in de eerste honderd dagen “actief, alert en aanwezig” is geweest en spreekt de intentie uit om zich te blijven inzetten voor beter bestuur en concrete resultaten voor Aruba.<\/p>\n

De verklaring is afgesloten met een dankwoord aan de bevolking voor het vertrouwen en een oproep om gezamenlijk verder te bouwen aan het land.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
