ORANJESTAD \u2014 Fundacion Zinnia organiseert op vrijdag 27 juni 2025 een persevenement rond de lancering van de offici\u00eble trailer van de documentaire Bida Ta Sigui<\/em> en de presentatie van het nieuwe logo van de stichting. De bijeenkomst vindt plaats om 10.00 uur bij The West Deck aan de Lloyd G. Smith Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Volgens de stichting staat het moment in het teken van een ingrijpende mijlpaal. Tien jaar geleden kwam dochter Zinnia om het leven bij een verkeersongeval dat werd veroorzaakt door een bestuurder onder invloed. Vanuit dat verlies werd Fundacion Zinnia opgericht, met als doel bewustwording te cre\u00ebren, ruimte te bieden voor verwerking en verdriet om te zetten in maatschappelijke inzet.<\/p>\n

Met de trailer geeft de stichting een eerste inkijk in de komende documentaire Bida Ta Sigui<\/em>, wat vrij vertaald \u2018Het leven gaat door\u2019 betekent. In de film wordt het familieverhaal verteld, evenals de gevolgen van \u00e9\u00e9n onverantwoorde beslissing en de zoektocht naar veerkracht na een tragedie.<\/p>\n

De documentaire moet volgens Fundacion Zinnia niet alleen een persoonlijk verhaal brengen, maar ook dienen als educatief middel. Daarbij wordt aandacht gevraagd voor thema\u2019s als het voorkomen van rijden onder invloed, mentale gezondheid en steun aan families die met ingrijpend verlies te maken krijgen.<\/p>\n

Tijdens het evenement wordt ook het nieuwe logo van de stichting onthuld. Dat moet volgens de organisatie symbool staan voor de ontwikkeling van de afgelopen tien jaar en de toekomst die Fundacion Zinnia samen met de gemeenschap wil opbouwen.<\/p>\n

De keuze voor The West Deck als locatie is volgens de stichting bewust gemaakt. De plek aan zee zou de geest en het licht weerspiegelen die Zinnia in het leven van haar familie bracht.<\/p>\n

Fundacion Zinnia roept media op om bij het evenement aanwezig te zijn en zo bij te dragen aan verdere verspreiding van de boodschap binnen Aruba.
