De prijs werd uitgereikt tijdens het afsluitende banket, de <em>ACURILEAN Evening of Awards 2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>De onderscheiding werd toegekend in het kader van de 54e conferentie van de Association of Caribbean University, Research and Institutional Libraries (ACURIL). Deze conferentie geldt als de grootste bijeenkomst voor bibliotheekprofessionals in het Caribisch gebied.<\/p>\n<p>ACURIL richt zich op bibliothecarissen, archivarissen, museummedewerkers, informatiespecialisten en andere professionals in de informatiesector. De conferentie biedt deelnemers de mogelijkheid om inspiratie op te doen, kennis te verdiepen en zich verder te professionaliseren.<\/p>\n<p>Het thema van de conferentie was dit jaar <em>Digital Humanities: Connecting the Caribbean through Archives, Museums, and Libraries<\/em>. ACURIL 2025 vond vorige week plaats op Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n<p>Met de toekenning van de prijs krijgt ook de Biblioteca Nacional Aruba internationale erkenning binnen de Caribische informatie- en
