Lanoy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ORANJESTAD<\/strong> \u2014 Parlementari\u00ebr John Hart, voorzitter van de commissie Justitie in het parlement, heeft minister van Justitie mr. drs. Arthur Dowers formeel verzocht om deel te nemen aan een officieel vragenuur over de zaak A.C. Lanoy. De bijeenkomst staat gepland voor donderdag 12 juni 2025 in de Statenzaal van Aruba.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Hart is het van belang dat de regering scherp wordt gehouden in dossiers als deze. Daarom heeft hij al in de eerste week van zijn werkzaamheden als parlementari\u00ebr gevraagd om een specifiek vragenuur over deze zaak.<\/p>\n<p>In februari riep het parlement de regering tijdens een openbare vergadering al op om het justiti\u00eble departement dat belast is met de uitvoering van het onderzoek in de zaak A.C. Lanoy, opdracht te geven tot actieve transparantie richting de familie van A.C. Lanoy en de Arubaanse gemeenschap.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de sessie wil Hart van minister Dowers een algemene actualisering ontvangen over de stand van het onderzoek en over de stappen die het ministerie van Justitie verder zal nemen, zonder daarbij de integriteit van het onderzoek te schaden.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast vraagt Hart om aanvullende informatie over de status van projecten voor het Korps Politie Aruba, waaronder bodycams, dashcams, drugstests en andere operationele middelen die volgens hem van belang zijn voor het herstel en de versterking van het publieke vertrouwen in het justiti\u00eble systeem.<\/p>\n<p>Met dit initiatief wil Hart naar eigen zeggen de informatievoorziening en transparantie versterken waar de bevolking van Aruba in deze zaak om vraagt.
