ORANJESTAD \u2014 Dennerich Kelly is op 2 juni officieel ge\u00efnstalleerd als lid van het parlement van Aruba namens de fractie van de AVP. Volgens de partij vormt zijn toetreding een versterking van de parlementaire ploeg.<\/p>\n

Kelly, die al bijna 25 jaar als verpleegkundige werkzaam is, brengt volgens de AVP praktijkervaring mee vanuit de gezondheidszorg. In een toelichting stelt hij dat die achtergrond hem een goed beeld geeft van de uitdagingen binnen de publieke zorg en van de problemen waarmee de bevolking te maken heeft.<\/p>\n

De nieuwe parlementari\u00ebr zegt zich niet alleen op de zorg te willen richten. Ook thema\u2019s als onderwijs en sport behoren volgens hem tot zijn aandachtsgebieden. \u201cIk ben klaar om het volk met toewijding te dienen en de belangen van Aruba te verdedigen\u201d, aldus Kelly.<\/p>\n

Verder gaf hij aan dat hij zijn politieke werk wil baseren op plichtsbesef, sterke ethische waarden en betrokkenheid bij het land. Als vertegenwoordiger van een jongere generatie in het parlement zegt hij het contact met de bevolking belangrijk te vinden, naar zorgen te willen luisteren en te werken aan concrete oplossingen.<\/p>\n

De AVP-fractie noemt Kelly een waardevolle aanvulling en spreekt het vertrouwen uit dat hij nieuwe energie, inzet en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel naar het parlement brengt.<\/p>\n
