ORANJESTAD \u2014 Wanda Broeksema en Nicole Hoevertsz zijn benoemd in verschillende commissies van Panam Sports. Dat heeft het Arubaans Olympisch Comit\u00e9 (COA) bekendgemaakt.<\/p>\n

Volgens het COA beperken de werkzaamheden van zijn bestuursleden zich niet tot Aruba alleen, maar vertegenwoordigen zij de organisatie ook op continentaal en mondiaal niveau. Zij nemen daarbij deel aan vergaderingen, algemene bijeenkomsten en commissies die van belang zijn voor de olympische beweging.<\/p>\n

Nicole Hoevertsz blijft voorzitter van de commissie Safe Sports. Daarnaast is zij lid van de commissie Ethics and Good Governance. COA-voorzitter Wanda Broeksema is benoemd als lid van de Lima 2027 Pan American Games Coordination and Follow Up Commission.<\/p>\n

Het COA stelt dat de benoemingen niet alleen bijdragen aan het werk en het succes van de betrokken commissies, maar ook van betekenis zijn voor Aruba. De opgedane kennis en ervaring kunnen volgens de organisatie later worden ingezet ten behoeve van de lokale sportontwikkeling.<\/p>\n
