ORANJESTAD \u2014 Aruba was van 5 tot en met 9 mei gastheer van een intensieve en praktijkgerichte training voor inspecteurs op het gebied van voedselveiligheid uit Aruba, Bonaire en Sint Maarten. De training is gericht op het versterken van het toezicht op voedselveiligheid binnen de regio.<\/p>\n

De cursus vond plaats in het kader van het Education, Training and Exercise Program van DuCaPHEN. De training werd verzorgd door deskundigen van de Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA), internationaal bekend om haar expertise op het gebied van voedselveiligheid en consumentenproducten.<\/p>\n

Volgens de Directie Volksgezondheid (DVG) kregen de inspecteurs tijdens het programma de nodige instrumenten en technieken aangereikt om gezondheidsrisico\u2019s die samenhangen met voedsel te herkennen, te beoordelen en te beheersen. Het traject bestond uit een voorbereidende e-learningmodule en een praktijkcursus.<\/p>\n

In het praktijkgedeelte brachten de deelnemers bezoeken aan een supermarkt en een restaurant in een hotel, waar zij het geleerde direct konden toepassen. Daarbij werd gewerkt aan essenti\u00eble vaardigheden zoals hygi\u00ebnecontrole, het signaleren van voedselgerelateerde gezondheidsrisico\u2019s, allergenenbeheer, temperatuurcontrole en inspectietechnieken.<\/p>\n

De training moet niet alleen bijdragen aan een hoger niveau van voedselveiligheidspraktijken, maar ook aan nauwere samenwerking en verdere harmonisatie van standaarden tussen de eilanden binnen het Koninkrijk.<\/p>\n

Met de opleiding van inspectiepersoneel onderstreept de DVG haar inzet om de volksgezondheid van inwoners en bezoekers te beschermen en een cultuur van kwaliteit en voedselveiligheid in de regio te blijven bevorderen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
