ORANJESTAD \u2014 Het kabinet AVP-FUTURO is kort na zijn aantreden begonnen met maatregelen die gepensioneerden verlichting moeten bieden. Dat stelt AVP-parlementari\u00ebr John Hart in een persverklaring van de partij.<\/p>\n

Volgens Hart was in de begroting voor 2025, zoals die door de vorige regering was ingediend, geen voorziening opgenomen om gepensioneerden tegemoet te komen. Hij stelt dat juist kwetsbare groepen daardoor in financi\u00eble problemen zijn geraakt en soms moesten kiezen tussen het betalen van medicijnen of andere noodzakelijke levensonderhoudskosten.<\/p>\n

Hart verwijst daarbij ook naar een eerdere bezuiniging van 60 miljoen florin op de gezondheidszorg voor AZV-verzekerden. Volgens hem had die maatregel gevolgen voor de vergoedingen van zorgprofessionals en verdwenen diverse medicijnen van de positieve lijst, waardoor deze niet langer door AZV werden gedekt.<\/p>\n

De huidige regering heeft volgens Hart via een nota van wijziging een reparatietoeslag van 250 florin ingevoerd om de koopkracht van gepensioneerden te verbeteren. Hij noemt de maatregel een eerste stap, al is volgens hem meer nodig om deze groep structureel te ondersteunen.<\/p>\n

“Er is nog meer nodig om onze gepensioneerden te helpen hun koopkracht te verbeteren, maar dit is zeker een goed begin. Dit is geen symbolisch gebaar, maar een daad van rechtvaardigheid en moreel herstel”, aldus Hart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
