Ze betoogde dat slechts \u201czeer weinig\u201d hooggeplaatste militairen Maduro nog steunen en dat zij \u201ceen beslissing moeten nemen\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De waarschuwing komt terwijl de VS een grote antinarcotica-operatie uitrollen: volgens meerdere berichten zijn drie geleide-raketvernietigers (USS <em>Gravely<\/em>, USS <em>Jason Dunham<\/em>, USS <em>Sampson<\/em>) naar de regio gestuurd, aangevuld met een amfibische eskader, een nucleaire aanvalsonderzeeboot en verkenningsvliegtuigen.
