ORANJESTAD, Aruba – 29 juli 2025: Het Departement van Volksgezondheid herinnert alle inwoners van Aruba die van plan zijn te reizen eraan om de nodige gezondheidsmaatregelen te nemen voordat zij vertrekken. Ongeacht of uw reis is voor vakantie, studie, medische behandeling, zaken of avontuur, uw gezondheid moet worden beschermd tijdens uw verblijf buiten Aruba totdat u terugkeert.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voor degenen die naar bepaalde landen in het Caribisch gebied, Zuid-Amerika, Midden-Amerika of Afrika reizen, wordt ten zeerste aanbevolen om de gele koorts-vaccinatie te halen. Deze vaccinatie is levenslang geldig, maar moet minstens 10 dagen voor de reis worden toegediend.<\/p>\n

Afrika: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Kameroen, Centraal-Afrikaanse Republiek, Tsjaad, Congo, Democratische Republiek Congo, Ivoorkust, Equatoriaal-Guinea, Ethiopi\u00eb, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinee, Guinee-Bissau, Kenia, Liberia, Mali, Mauritani\u00eb, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Zuid-Soedan, Soedan, Togo, Oeganda<\/p>\n

Belangrijke informatie:<\/p>\n

Alle reizigers moeten de vaccinatie krijgen als zij langer dan 24 uur in \u00e9\u00e9n van de bovengenoemde landen verblijven.<\/p>\n

Als u de vaccinatie in het verleden heeft gehad en uw gele boekje (vaccinatiebewijs) heeft, hoeft u de vaccinatie niet opnieuw te krijgen.<\/p>\n

Als u geen geel boekje heeft maar de vaccinatie in Aruba heeft gehad, kunt u een duplicaat krijgen voor Afl. 10,-.<\/p>\n

De vaccinatie wordt niet aanbevolen voor kinderen jonger dan 9 maanden, volwassenen ouder dan 60 jaar, zwangere vrouwen of vrouwen die de komende maanden zwanger willen worden, immuungecompromitteerde personen, of mensen met een ernstige allergie voor componenten van de vaccinatie (zoals eieren).<\/p>\n

Waar en hoe de vaccinatie te krijgen:<\/p>\n

Maak een afspraak minstens 10 dagen voor uw reis door te bellen naar 5224200.<\/p>\n

Kom op de dag van uw afspraak naar de Afdeling Infectieziekten, Avicenna Straat #1 (achter het hoofdgebouw van DVG).<\/p>\n

Neem uw geldige identificatie mee.<\/p>\n

De kosten voor de vaccinatie zijn Afl. 31,-, alleen te betalen via pinpas of online-overschrijving.
\nContant geld of creditcard worden niet geaccepteerd.<\/p>\n
