{"id":2255,"date":"2025-07-16T11:15:40","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T15:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amigoearuba.com\/?p=2255"},"modified":"2025-07-16T11:15:41","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T15:15:41","slug":"sint-maarten-boekt-grote-vooruitgang-in-modernisering-van-overheids-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amigoearuba.com\/?p=2255","title":{"rendered":"Sint Maarten Boekt Grote Vooruitgang in Modernisering van Overheids-IT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Philipsburg \u2013 De Tijdelijke Werkorganisatie (TWO) blikt samen met de overheid van Sint Maarten terug op de succesvolle afronding aan van het project &#8216;Revamping the IT Department&#8217; \u2013 een transformatief initiatief dat gericht is op het versterken van de digitale capaciteit binnen de publieke sector. Het project liep van januari 2023 tot december 2024 en heeft een stevige basis gelegd voor verbeterde dienstverlening, moderne IT-governance en verhoogde effici\u00ebntie binnen overheidsinstellingen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Onder leiding van het Ministerie van Algemene Zaken, en met ondersteuning van ICTU en de TWO, richtte het project zich op het aanpakken van structurele knelpunten zoals personeelstekort, verouderde processen en gebrekkige co\u00f6rdinatie tussen ministeries.<\/p>\n<p>De belangrijkste resultaten van het project zien op verbeterde IT-operaties. Er zijn nu formele processen voor bijvoorbeeld incidentbeheer en serviceverzoeken. Ook zijn belangrijke hardware-upgrades doorgevoerd en zijn er verschillende verbeterprojecten gestart in diverse overheidsafdelingen. Er is ook gewerkt aan de organisatieontwikkeling. Er zijn nieuwe collega&#8217;s aangenomen, er zijn meer medewerkers in vaste dienst en krijgt het IT personeel een ontwikkelingsplan.<\/p>\n<p>Vooruitkijkend heeft het project waardevolle lessen opgeleverd die nu al worden toegepast binnen het nieuwe opvolgproject &#8216;Rivet&#8217;. Dit vervolgproject bouwt voort op de basis van Revamping en legt extra nadruk op capaciteitsopbouw op lange termijn, betere communicatie met belanghebbenden en sterkere projectsturing via sponsorship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Dit is meer dan een herstructurering van een afdeling \u2013 het is een culturele verschuiving in hoe we diensten verlenen&#8217; aldus een projectwoordvoerder.<\/p>\n<div
