Het Nederlandse marineschip Zr.Ms. Friesland, dat voer onder de vlag van de Kustwacht Caribisch Gebied, kwam in actie nadat een verdacht vaartuig was waargenomen.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens de Kustwacht werd de drugsboot opgemerkt door het Dash-8-vliegtuig. Vervolgens zette Zr.Ms. Friesland twee snelle onderscheppingsvaartuigen, zogenoemde FRISC\u2019en, in om het vaartuig te stoppen.<\/p>\n<p>De vier verdachte opvarenden zijn samen met de in beslag genomen drugs overgedragen aan het Korps Politie Aruba op het Kustwachtsteunpunt in Savaneta.<\/p>\n<p>Het is volgens de Kustwacht de tweede onderschepping van een drugstransport binnen een week.
