ORANJESTAD \u2014 De Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) heeft een beveiligingsincident vastgesteld met een e-mailaccount binnen de organisatie. Volgens A.T.A. vond het incident plaats op 23 april 2026. Als gevolg daarvan zijn zonder autorisatie phishingmails verstuurd vanaf het e-mailadres p.melchiors@aruba.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

De organisatie laat weten dat inmiddels direct maatregelen zijn genomen om het account te beveiligen en het incident verder te onderzoeken. Daarnaast worden extra beveiligingsmaatregelen ingevoerd om verdere ongeautoriseerde activiteiten te voorkomen. Ook is een digitaal forensisch onderzoek gestart.<\/p>\n

A.T.A. roept personen en organisaties die een onverwacht of verdacht bericht van het betreffende e-mailadres hebben ontvangen op om geen links aan te klikken en geen bijlagen te openen. Ontvangers wordt gevraagd het bericht te melden via it@aruba.com<\/strong> of bij de eigen IT-afdeling, en het daarna te verwijderen.<\/p>\n

Met de waarschuwing wil A.T.A. voorkomen dat meer mensen slachtoffer worden van phishing. De organisatie zegt aanvullende informatie te zullen delen zodra die beschikbaar is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
