Dat benadrukte parlementari\u00ebr Shailiny Tromp-Lee na een bezoek aan een speciale sessie die afgelopen zaterdag plaatsvond.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Tromp-Lee werd tijdens de bijeenkomst zichtbaar gemaakt hoe de therapie in de buitenlucht bijdraagt aan zowel de fysieke als emotionele ontwikkeling van kinderen. De aanpak richt zich op het aanbieden van unieke hulpmiddelen voor hun groei en zelfvertrouwen.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens het bezoek woonde Tromp-Lee onder meer een trainingssessie bij van Joshua. Daarbij viel volgens haar op hoeveel concentratie en motorische controle het contact met het paard bij hem opriep. De sessie werd omschreven als een belangrijk onderdeel van zijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling.<\/p>\n<p>De hippotherapiesessies bestaan uit sport- en beweegoefeningen op de paarden, met als doel het versterken van balans en zelfvertrouwen. Daarnaast omvat het programma ook psychomotorische onderdelen, zoals het verzorgen en wassen van de paarden, waarmee onder meer zorgzaamheid en empathie worden gestimuleerd.<\/p>\n<p>Tromp-Lee sprak tijdens haar bezoek ook met Jeanjare van Sensory Gym Aruba, die samen met de assistenten Amy, Zulaika en Claudia van Hoofs of Hope de begeleiding verzorgt.<\/p>\n<p>Het motto van de ochtend, \u201cTogether we can make a difference, together we\u2019re doing it\u201d, onderstreepte volgens de aanwezigen het belang van inclusie en het cre\u00ebren van ruimte voor kinderen met autisme om
