ORANJESTAD \u2014 Tijdens een afscheidsbijeenkomst heeft het Arubaans Olympisch Comit\u00e9 (COA) niet alleen de atleten en coaches van TEAMARU gepresenteerd, maar ook het professionele ondersteuningsteam dat de delegatie zal begeleiden naar de Zuid-Amerikaanse Jeugdspelen in Panama in 2026.<\/p>\n

Volgens het COA is een brede staf samengesteld om alle belangrijke onderdelen van de begeleiding te dekken. Naast chef de mission Jonathan Wever bestaat het team uit technische, medische en mediabegeleiding, aangevuld met een welfare officer.<\/p>\n

De technische leiding is in handen van technisch directeur Monica Fajardo. Zij krijgt ondersteuning van Betto Thiel, die mee zal helpen bij de technische organisatie rond de Spelen.<\/p>\n

Voor de medische zorg reist dr. Nicolaas Duindam mee met de Arubaanse delegatie. Het is de eerste keer dat hij deel uitmaakt van een delegatie van Aruba. Hij wordt bijgestaan door Roberto Chavarria, die eerder ervaring opdeed tijdens de Junior Pan American Games ASU2025.<\/p>\n

De mediacoverage van TEAMARU wordt verzorgd door Ryan Loopstok en Noel Werleman. Zij zullen de verrichtingen en hoogtepunten van de Arubaanse ploeg tijdens het toernooi vastleggen.<\/p>\n

Irina Croes is aangewezen als welfare officer van de delegatie. In die functie richt zij zich op mentale gezondheid en het algemeen welzijn van de teamleden.<\/p>\n

Het COA spreekt het vertrouwen uit dat dit begeleidingsteam de delegatie op hoog niveau zal ondersteunen tijdens de Zuid-Amerikaanse Jeugdspelen Panama 2026 en wenst alle betrokkenen veel succes toe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
