ORANJESTAD \u2014 Het Horacio Oduber Hospital (HOH) heeft John Ras uitgeroepen tot medewerker van de maand februari 2026. De onderscheiding werd hem onlangs op verrassende wijze overhandigd op de afdeling revalidatie, in aanwezigheid van familieleden, management en collega\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Volgens HOH levert Ras als revalidatieassistent dagelijks een belangrijke bijdrage aan het team. Het ziekenhuis prijst zijn grote betrokkenheid, zijn actieve samenwerking met collega\u2019s en zijn bereidheid om mee te denken over oplossingen waar dat nodig is.<\/p>\n

Ook pati\u00ebnten waarderen zijn inzet, aldus het ziekenhuis. Ras wordt omschreven als vriendelijk, positief en luisterbereid. Met geduld en motivatie weet hij pati\u00ebnten te stimuleren om aan hun herstel te werken. In het bijzonder wordt zijn inzet voor de begeleiding van pati\u00ebnten met een amputatie genoemd.<\/p>\n

Naast zijn werkzaamheden op de afdeling revalidatie maakt Ras ook deel uit van het Hulpverlenersteam (HVT) van HOH. Daarin toont hij volgens de organisatie een proactieve houding en veel inzet. Het ziekenhuis stelt dat hij in stressvolle en calamiteuze situaties al meerdere keren heeft laten zien adequaat te kunnen handelen.<\/p>\n

Met zijn ervaring, toewijding en professionele houding is Ras volgens HOH een voorbeeldige collega binnen het revalidatieteam. De raad van bestuur, het management en medewerkers van het ziekenhuis feliciteren hem met zijn benoeming tot medewerker van de maand februari 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
