ORANJESTAD \u2014 De Directie Volksgezondheid Aruba (DVG) heeft haar communicatiekanalen uitgebreid om de bevolking beter en sneller te informeren over onderwerpen rond volksgezondheid. Volgens de dienst is het doel om belangrijke gezondheidsinformatie toegankelijk te maken voor iedere inwoner, ongeacht of iemand actief is op sociale media.<\/p>\n

DVG stelt dat duidelijke, snelle en toegankelijke communicatie essentieel is in een tijd waarin informatie zich snel verspreidt en gezondheidssituaties in korte tijd kunnen veranderen. Daarom is gekozen voor een verbreding van de bestaande informatiekanalen, zodat een groter deel van de Arubaanse gemeenschap kan worden bereikt.<\/p>\n

Inwoners kunnen DVG momenteel volgen via Facebook en Instagram onder de naam Directie Volksgezondheid<\/em>, via het offici\u00eble WhatsApp-kanaal van de dienst, via de Aruba Health App en via de offici\u00eble website www.dvg.aw<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Met deze uitbreiding wil DVG de band met de gemeenschap versterken en haar rol als betrouwbare informatiebron verder uitbouwen. Via de verschillende kanalen verspreidt de dienst informatie over onder meer infectieziekten, vaccinatie, preventieve gezondheidszorg, sanitaire noodsituaties en andere onderwerpen die van direct belang zijn voor het welzijn van de bevolking.<\/p>\n

Volgens DVG is correcte informatie van groot belang voor de bescherming van de volksgezondheid. Betrouwbare communicatie helpt desinformatie tegen te gaan en ondersteunt burgers bij het nemen van weloverwogen beslissingen.<\/p>\n
