In dat verband kwam de technische afdeling van het COA, samen met de Directie Deporte, bijeen met Aruba Aquatics Federation (AAF).<\/p>\n<p>Omdat AAF meerdere disciplines onder zich heeft, wordt per onderdeel afzonderlijk gekeken naar de noden en plannen. Tijdens deze bijeenkomst stond artistic swimming centraal, een discipline waarin Aruba de afgelopen jaren internationaal zichtbaar succes heeft geboekt.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens het COA heeft Aruba zich in deze sport onderscheiden met onder meer meerdere medailles van atlete Kyra Hoevertsz op wereldniveau, een sterke prestatie van het duo Xiana Hoo en Kendra Simon tijdens ASU2025 en in totaal zeven medailles op de laatste Centraal-Amerikaanse en Caribische Spelen in San Salvador in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Trainster Kimberly Vinck presenteerde tijdens het overleg het trainingsplan voor 2026. Daarbij werd uiteengezet hoe wordt gewerkt aan de voorbereiding van een team dat wil deelnemen aan de Centraal-Amerikaanse en Caribische Spelen van Santo Domingo 2026, die in juli van volgend jaar plaatsvinden.<\/p>\n<p>In de presentatie ging Vinck in op de technische, tactische en fysieke voorbereiding die nodig is om het niveau van de jonge groep verder te verhogen. Ook Alva Torres Gomez, lid van de technische commissie en een bekende naam binnen de wereld van artistic swimming, was bij het overleg aanwezig.<\/p>\n<p>Het COA sprak zijn waardering uit voor de
