Aanleiding was de nominatie van de stichting voor de Appeltjes van Oranje 2025, die onlangs in Den Haag bekend werd gemaakt.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens de VNO was de bijeenkomst bedoeld om stil te staan bij deze prestatie en bij het werk dat 131 Aruba verricht voor kinderen en jongeren op Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de lunch gaf de VNO een toelichting op haar werkzaamheden op Aruba. Ook 131 Aruba presenteerde haar activiteiten aan de medewerkers van de vertegenwoordiging. Daarbij werd gesproken over de uitdagingen en kansen voor kinderen en jongeren, de ontwikkelingen binnen de organisatie in 2025 en enkele projecten die in de nabije toekomst van start moeten gaan.<\/p>\n<p>Als afsluiting van de bijeenkomst overhandigde de VNO een cheque ter ondersteuning van de missie en visie van 131 Aruba.
