Het was de eerste keer dat het team gezamenlijk uitkwam op dit grote evenement in de functional-fitnesssport.<\/p>\n<p>Het kampioenschap bestond uit twee onderdelen: HYROX en Functional Fitness, beter bekend als CrossFit. Beide disciplines winnen internationaal aan populariteit.<\/p>\n<p>Eigenaar Ross Ismail kwam samen met partner Regi Boekhoudt in actie in de pro-divisie van HYROX en opende daarmee de competitie voor ThunderBox297. In de individuele RX-divisie, de hoogste klasse binnen Functional Fitness, namen Aline Rios dos Anjos en Lucas dos Anjos deel aan een sterk bezet deelnemersveld. Beiden leverden volgens ThunderBox297 een solide prestatie.<\/p>\n<p>Ook Christy Rodriguez en Pauline Vackier, uitkomend als Team Ban pa Bay, verschenen aan de start in de divisie Partner Intermediate Female. In een groot deelnemersveld wisten zij beslag te leggen op de derde plaats en eindigden daarmee op het podium.<\/p>\n<p>ThunderBox297 sprak waardering uit voor de organisatie van het evenement en feliciteerde F3A Aruba, de lokale federatie voor Functional Fitness, evenals alle deelnemende atleten.
