{"id":11717,"date":"2025-10-14T17:11:52","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T21:11:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amigoearuba.com\/?p=11717"},"modified":"2026-04-24T16:50:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T20:50:52","slug":"mep-stelt-vragen-over-volledig-besteed-budget-city-inspector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amigoearuba.com\/?p=11717","title":{"rendered":"MEP stelt vragen over volledig besteed budget City Inspector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ORANJESTAD \u2014 De MEP-fractie heeft schriftelijke vragen gesteld aan de minister van Financi\u00ebn over het financieel beheer rond schoonmaakwerkzaamheden in verschillende wijken van Aruba, die volgens de partij worden uitgevoerd in opdracht van minister-president Mike Eman.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens informatie waarover de fractie zegt te beschikken, wordt het Bureau City Inspector in opdracht van het ministerie van Algemene Zaken en Natuur niet alleen ingezet voor het schoonmaken van openbare plekken, maar ook voor het reinigen van priv\u00e9terreinen met gebruik van publieke middelen. De partij plaatst daarbij vraagtekens en wil opheldering over de rechtmatigheid van deze uitgaven.<\/p>\n<p>MEP stelt verder dat het budget van Bureau City Inspector voor 2025 inmiddels volledig zou zijn uitgeput, terwijl het begrotingsjaar nog niet is afgelopen. De fractie noemt dat zorgwekkend en vraagt om onmiddellijke transparantie, controle en verantwoording van de regering.<\/p>\n<p>In de vragen aan de minister van Financi\u00ebn verzoekt MEP onder meer om onderzoek en effectief toezicht. Ook wil de fractie weten of de betreffende uitgaven in overeenstemming zijn met de Comptabiliteitsverordening en welke controlemechanismen bestaan om oneigenlijk gebruik van publieke middelen te voorkomen.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens de fractie is verantwoord financieel beheer een basisvoorwaarde voor goed bestuur en hebben zowel het parlement als de bevolking recht op duidelijkheid over de besteding van gemeenschapsgeld.<\/p>\n<p>MEP verwacht dat de minister de vragen binnen twee weken beantwoordt, zodat het parlement zijn controlerende taak kan uitoefenen op het rechtmatig en integer gebruik van
