De Kustwacht Caribisch Gebied heeft in een persverklaring gereageerd op de gebeurtenissen van afgelopen weekend waarbij een medewerker van de organisatie betrokken zou zijn geweest.<\/p>\n

Volgens de Kustwacht gaat het om een ernstige kwestie die de volledige aandacht van de organisatie heeft. \u201eIntegriteit vormt de basis van ons dagelijks werk\u201d, aldus de verklaring.<\/p>\n

De organisatie laat weten dat alle noodzakelijke stappen worden genomen om ervoor te zorgen dat de betrokkene op passende wijze ter verantwoording wordt geroepen. Daarbij benadrukt de Kustwacht zich volledig van de handelingen te distanti\u00ebren.<\/p>\n

\u201eWij accepteren dit soort gedrag op geen enkel moment\u201d, stelt de organisatie verder.<\/p>\n

Ondanks het incident zegt de Kustwacht haar werkzaamheden onverminderd voort te zetten. Volgens de verklaring blijft de dienst zich dagelijks inzetten met professionaliteit en toewijding.<\/p>\n
