Volgens de partij is de minister teruggekomen op afspraken die in 2022 zijn gemaakt tijdens het Interparlementair Koninkrijksoverleg.<\/p>\n<p>MEP stelt dat destijds is afgesproken dat regeringen bij dergelijke trajecten steeds moeten zorgen voor consensus met de parlementen en daarbij volledige transparantie moeten betrachten. De partij verwijt de regering dat de Staten niet op de hoogte zijn gehouden van de verdere behandeling van de Rijkswet HOFA.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens MEP vond de laatste briefing aan de Staten plaats op 4 juli 2025. Daarbij zou zijn toegezegd dat het parlement verder ge\u00efnformeerd zou worden. De partij stelt dat die toezegging vervolgens niet is nagekomen. Ook wijst MEP erop dat het concept op 29 augustus 2025 al zou zijn goedgekeurd door de Rijksministerraad.<\/p>\n<p>In de verklaring stelt MEP dat minister Croes op de hoogte was van de eerder gemaakte afspraken en dat het afwijken daarvan het vertrouwen schaadt. De partij spreekt van een aantasting van de parlementaire rol en vindt dat de vereiste openheid richting Staten en samenleving onvoldoende is geweest.<\/p>\n<p>MEP roept op tot naleving van afspraken binnen het Koninkrijk en benadrukt dat transparantie en tijdige informatievoorziening volgens haar essentieel zijn voor een goed functionerende parlementaire
