Volgens de partij is die verhoging een noodzakelijke stap voor sociale rechtvaardigheid en armoedebestrijding.<\/p>\n<p>Tegelijkertijd wijst MEP op zorgen in de samenleving dat hogere loonkosten kunnen leiden tot prijsstijgingen van producten en diensten. Vooral kleine ondernemers zouden hun prijzen kunnen verhogen om de extra lasten op te vangen, met als gevolg een verdere aantasting van de koopkracht van consumenten.<\/p>\n<p>Met de motie vraagt MEP de minister van Financi\u00ebn in overleg te treden met ondernemers en werknemersorganisaties. Doel is te komen tot een compenserend pakket dat met name kleine bedrijven ondersteunt en voorkomt dat de gevolgen van de loonstijging bij de consument terechtkomen.<\/p>\n<p>Als mogelijke maatregelen noemt de fractie gerichte subsidies, zoals een tijdelijke tegemoetkoming in loonkosten voor kleine ondernemingen of steun aan sectoren die sterk afhankelijk zijn van arbeidsintensief werk, waaronder horeca en kleine handel. Ook wordt gedacht aan subsidies voor innovatie en productiviteit, zoals digitalisering, verduurzaming en training van personeel.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast pleit MEP voor aanvullende ondersteuning in de vorm van scholing en financi\u00eble vorming om de productiviteit te verhogen. Ook zou nauwere samenwerking met de private sector kunnen bijdragen aan schaalvoordelen bij gezamenlijke inkoop.<\/p>\n<p>Een belangrijk onderdeel van de voorgestelde aanpak is volgens de fractie prijsmonitoring, om buitensporige prijsverhogingen voor consumenten te voorkomen.<\/p>\n<p>MEP stelt dat een verhoging van het minimumloon op een eerlijke en duurzame manier moet worden ingevoerd. Met gerichte steunmaatregelen kunnen volgens de partij zowel kleine bedrijven worden beschermd als de koopkracht van consumenten behouden
