ORANJESTAD \u2014 Urbano Figaroa heeft een nieuwe publicatie overhandigd aan de Biblioteca Nacional Aruba. Het gaat om het werk Genealogia di famianan de Cuba na Savaneta<\/em>, dat wordt opgenomen in Aruba\u2019s Nationale Collectie.<\/p>\n

Volgens de bibliotheek zal de publicatie binnenkort beschikbaar zijn voor inzage bij het departement Arubiana. Figaroa overhandigde het exemplaar aan waarnemend afdelingshoofd Lilian Semeleer.<\/p>\n

De auteur laat weten dat hij voor het samenstellen van de genealogie gegevens, namen en andere informatie uit verschillende bronnen heeft verzameld. Het boek is verkrijgbaar via Figaroa zelf. Belangstellenden kunnen contact opnemen via de telefoonnummers 584 7598 en 563 2885 of per e-mail via figaroau@hotmail.com.<\/p>\n

Figaroa publiceerde in 2018 ook al een eerste boek, getiteld Figaroa: decendientenan di e prome Figaroa cu a jega Aruba na anja 1816 conoci den bukinan bieu di historia bao di e number Hose Anselmo Figaroa<\/em>. Ook deze uitgave maakt deel uit van de collectie van het departement Arubiana.<\/p>\n

Met zijn recente onderzoek richt Figaroa zich op de geschiedenis van de familie De Cuba in Savaneta. Volgens de bibliotheek toont de auteur al langer grote belangstelling voor de geschiedenis van verschillende families op Aruba.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
