ORANJESTAD<\/strong> \u2014 De Departamento di Aduana zet verdere stappen in de digitalisering van haar procedures en dienstverlening aan het publiek. Een van die stappen is de invoering van een digitale procedure voor het indienen van bezwaar.<\/p>\n

Vanaf maandag 25 augustus 2025 kunnen klanten een bezwaar uitsluitend digitaal indienen via de website van de Douane: https:\/\/www.douane.aw\/bezwaar-en-beroep\/<\/a>. Wie het niet eens is met een besluit of handeling van de Douane, heeft het recht daartegen bezwaar te maken.<\/p>\n

Volgens de dienst moeten klanten op de website het bezwaarformulier invullen en indienen. Het bezwaar wordt vervolgens intern behandeld. De indiener krijgt binnen de wettelijke termijn bericht over de uitkomst.<\/p>\n

Als een klant het niet eens is met de beslissing op het bezwaar, bestaat daarna de mogelijkheid om beroep aan te tekenen bij het Gerecht in Eerste Aanleg.<\/p>\n

De Douane wijst er verder op dat bezwaren vanaf 1 november 2025 niet meer worden geaccepteerd als die op papier of per e-mail worden ingediend.<\/p>\n
