Zeilster Kaj Rozeboom zorgde voor het eerste eremetaal voor <em>#TeamARU<\/em> door goud te winnen na een spannende eindfase van het toernooi.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens informatie van het Arubaans Olympisch Comit\u00e9 verliep de competitie onder moeilijke omstandigheden. Door gebrek aan wind konden op eerdere dagen geen wedstrijden worden gevaren, wat voor extra spanning zorgde onder de deelnemers.<\/p>\n<p>Op de beslissende wedstrijddag stonden vier races op het programma. Bij de start van de vijfde en laatste race stond Rozeboom nog gelijk met een tegenstander uit Argentini\u00eb. In de slotwedstrijd trok de Arubaanse echter aan het langste eind, waarmee zij de gouden medaille veiligstelde.<\/p>\n<p>Met die overwinning behaalde Rozeboom niet alleen goud voor Aruba, maar verzekerde zij zich ook van een kwalificatieplaats voor de Pan-Amerikaanse Spelen in Lima in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Het Arubaans Olympisch Comit\u00e9 spreekt van een memorabele prestatie en benadrukt dat Rozeboom met haar resultaat Aruba trots heeft gemaakt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aruba heeft op de ASU2025 zijn eerste medaille binnen.
